Tai Chi, Martial Arts, Self Defense Instruction - I started Kung Fu at 9 years old and have been on the martial arts path ever since. I have learned from many great teachers and teach regular classes at Golden Rishi Qigong and Tai Chi.

Engineering, Math, Science Tutoring - I discovered science early in life and chose engineering as my career during middle school. I have worked as an electrical engineer for over 12 years and been a tutor to many high school and college students. Teaching a deep passion of mine and I am happy to share the secrets of nature.

Health, Wellness and Longevity Coaching - At 13 years old, I found myself staring at the number 273. On a scale at 24 Hour Fitness, I began my quest for Optimal Health. It took many years of fitness, diet and self discipline but I found my way through and have a wealth of knowledge of the Way to live the best, long, happy life.

Tai Chi is my greatest treasure. In the process of giving it away, I only get more.

The benefits derived from martial arts are infinite and I cannot encourage others enough to take up the pursuit. The fitness, flexibility and morality derived from my studies gave me so much that I am eager to teach.

Teaching is my greatest joy as I get the opportunity to change someone's life simply by sharing knowledge that changed my life.

I began studying Taiji at 18 and one day, my teacher told me to lead the warm up, then teach a form, then teach a whole class. I have been teaching ever since.

15 years of Tai Chi, Martial Arts and Self Defense practice and over 10 years teaching.

12 year career as an Electrical Engineer and a tutor.

"Change your habits, Change your Life!" This statement of fact transformed my life. By practicing the best habits, we can live the best life.

About the lesson

Arrange a time and place to meet. Exchange mobile numbers.

Introduce myself, my background, the subject and begin with the basics to gauge current ability. I add topics and introduce exercises to allow the student to teach themselves after our meeting.

I have taught people ranging from 10 to 90 years old.

I have had great success working with seniors to help strengthen their balance.

I have even better success helping women feel safe no matter the situation.

In 2018, I hosted the Tai Chi Day celebration in La Jolla.

I organized over 10 instructors and their students come out, perform, teach and lead group exercises.

I taught Tai Chi then Self Defense this Saturday and received many compliments about my class. I have a good deal of newbies every week and never one complaint.
