About Jameson
I've been teaching martial arts for 25 years and have experience in multiple disciplines including Isshin Ryu karate, Tae Kwon Do, Wing Chung, Gracie Jui-Jitsu and more.
I love training and have trained most of my life. I like to help people get in shape and learn how to protect themselves. I have had to use what I teach a few times and have had students have to use what I've taught them. Martial arts has helped me with every part of my life and I know it can help others with theirs.
I started teaching at a young age at the martial arts school where I'm from in NY. I have taught in NY, Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, and NC. I have also been a professor for a college in NC.
I have a 4th-degree black belt in Karate and a 3rd-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I also have training in other disciplines such as Wing Chung and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

If it's for private lessons I'll talk to the students first asking questions on what they are looking to learn and to get a sense of their overall ability level.
I have worked with all students from 2 1/2 to my oldest student in their 80's. Most students are between the ages of 10 and 45. I have also worked with students that have physical disabilities or limitations and learning challenges along with exceptionally talented students.
Talk to them first to make sure they are going to teach not only what you are looking to learn but will also teach in a manner that will help you excel at learning.
