About Arrvada
Method Makeup Academy is Northern California’s 1st Professional Makeup School, opening our doors in 2008. Our courses are the intense training in the history, theory and application of professional beauty makeup. Starting September 2015 our program expanded to include Business Development. These courses are good for the most basic beginner as well as persons with some professional experience and training who are seeking to hone their skills. This program, our Pro Makeup Course comes with a Certificate of Completion for Professional Makeup Application upon successful completion of the course and a Professional Makeup Kit. Each class is a mixture of lecture, demonstration and hands on application. A diploma or license is not required to attend our course. The course is designed for professionals, however many of our students attend simply to enhance their skills on a personal level.

The Professional aspect of this course focuses on Bridal and Photo Shoot photography. It covers color matching,
Photo by Lockit In
contouring, highlighting, eye shadow application, false lash application and all aspects of classic makeup application. The Business Development portion of the course covers Business Plans, Customer Service, Professional Appearance and more.
Our instructors are working professionals who work in both the bridal industry and with professional photographers and models.
Our classes are small and intimate, enabling our students to get more focused and individual attention from our instructors.
