About Eric
I love the LSAT, I do not love the LSAT’s role in law school admissions. The test is given more weight than other field’s entrance exams, and law is a field which the school a person goes to matters, a lot. The good news is everything on the LSAT can be taught and learned.
I love LSAT tutoring because I love helping students achieve their dreams. There is no better feeling than seeing a student, not only reaching, exceeding her target score.
I am an LSAT tutor while I take time before enrolling in law school. I’ve used multiple test prep books and expensive test prep classes to learn the ins and outs of the test. I’ve worked hard to convert what I know into something understandable, which can be taught.
There are three section types and we will cover all of them extensively. I believe in building up a mental framework for each section, and then modifying the basic structure to match individual question types. With practice, you’ll begin to see how a similar process can be used to answer almost every question on the test. Perfecting the process makes students faster and more accurate.
Sitting for the exam is stressful, and, ultimately, the only thing that matters. Test scores and hours of prep mean nothing if stress overtakes a test taker. That is why I also focus on mindset — throughout our studies there will be ups and downs. I will do my best to keep your confidence high, and teach you methods I used to deal with stress while taking the test.
I love helping people get into their dream schools. I’ve seen people make double digit score increases on a retake and go from being waitlisted at their top choice to accepted with a full ride. It’s great to see hard work payoff.

I get to know the student, how much studying she has done, what her target score is, and what she is scoring now. My first lessons are theoretical. They answer questions like, what is the LSAT designed to test, and, how does each section test these things?
After establish a theoretical base we jump into an overview of each section, and then specific strategies for different question types.
Make sure you hire someone you trust.
On test day everything is about comprehension and confidence. It’s hard to believe in yourself if you don’t trust what your teacher taught you.
