About Alison
Alison works 1:1 and with small groups to reach physical, mental, and emotional balance through yoga, meditation, and theraputic embrace.
I earned my 200 hour yoga teaching certificate through Yoga Farm 2017-2018, I am a certified Cuddlist, Cuddle Party facilitator, and also reiki practitioner. I have taught 1:1 and small group lessons. I was also a volunteer teacher for a small group of seniors through the local community center.
I am trainied in a variety of healing modalities. I am a 200 hour trained yoga instructor, and I have additional training credits for 1:1 work, restorative techniques, and theraputic adjustments and assists as well as adjunctive healing techniques like reiki and hug therapy.

I offer new students a free intake interview where we can meet and discuss the goals and motivations for our sessions so that I can design a custom program for our first paid lesson together. Once we've completed a lesson, I ask the student how they are feeling a couple days later so that I can tweak the program for our future work together.
I have worked with students of all ages. I volunteered with the senior group teaching chair yoga, and I also taught a number of private students as well as members of the Yoga Farm throughout my teacher training and additional CE certifications.
I enjoy teaching Paint Yoga classes the most. I offer the opportunity to breath and move together while we create visual art in a group setting.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Please think about your own goals for working with an instructor for yourself, your family, or your work group. Keep in mind your own learning style and the style you prefer to practice. I am able to cue vigorous workouts as well as restorative and relaxation sessions dependant on your request.
