About Terry
Having been a lawyer for 38 years in all aspects of the courtroom and transactional work.--I know the LAW.
Now it is time to help others who wish to become lawyers or are interested in specific areas of the law.
I have always thought of myself, not as just a lawyer, but a social-anthropologist as well. Because the law is all about situations involving people.
Bar Prep, business law, mentoring young law students or lawyers, I did well enough with my son that he graduated with the highest honors from Harvard Law.
Mentoring and tutoring are no much different than working with a jury. Helping others understand.
Have taught and mentored young lawyers for 25 years.
My last practice was representing students with education-related legal issues.
My entire life has involved speaking to groups or just a single client. I use humor throughout, as appropriate, to help remind everyone that getting the task done or the problem solved does not have to be a burden.

Getting to know the student's expectations and skill set is most important.
Teaching is about putting any topic in a context the student will understand. Using metaphors and analogy from the student's life is how I make the topic or even a single question relevant to the student.
