About Melissa
I competed in IInternation Equestrian Association (IEA) up through High School along with attending local and A rated shows through the USEF. I also competed on a competive College Equestrain Team. I have owned and ridden numerous horses, but currently only have only two who are well trained.

I start eveyone with discussing what they want to learn. Then we work on teaching them how to groom and tack up their mount. I explain why not just how to do horse care and riding skills. You will also learn the correct way to cool down a horse and the importance of light hands.

Details
My lessons are completely one on one instruction. I charge 50.00 per hour of instruction. The rate is the same if you are being instructed out on the trail, ring, or in a field. You can expect to be on site for an hour and a half to two hours with tacking up and grooming, and also accounting for the time to cool down and put the horse and tack away..
