About Julie
I have been teaching people to ride and understand horses for about 15 years. I have been riding for 30 years myself. I raise and train my own horses as well as train some here and there for others when I have time. I ride and teach English riding & jumping as well as many aspects of western riding including: western pleasure, barrel racing & all games, ranch riding and help people improve their skills to excel in the show ring and Jackpot/rodeo arena. I have had students go on to be state champions in 4-H classes as well as at breed point shows. I host NBHA sanctioned barrel races at my home arena. We also love to have students with disabilities- I have some very special horses that are very gentle and we encourage anyone to come take part in riding. There is no charge for special needs students. Lessons are $30/hr per student.

I first assess their level of experience and pair them with a horse of mine. Otherwise if they bring their own horse, I figure out what they already know and go upwards from there.
