About Christian
I will personally travel to my clients and provide them with an outstanding one to one learning environment. I will assist them in all areas of study and will create activities that will stimulate pedagogical growth in the subject area of Social Studies.
I have worked in District 79 in New York City for my whole career. Students are mostly students with learning, social, and emotional disabilities. I am proficient in one on one instruction.
I have a bachelor’s degree in both history and education (grades 7-12). I have a master’s degree in Social Studies Curriculum and Instruction (grades K-14). I am looking to use my knowledge to help my students achieve more than I have.
I always wanted to teach. I went straight into college and completed my degree in 4 years. After completing my degree, I substituted for a year before I became a licensed and appointed Social Studies teacher in the New York City Department of Education. After receiving a job, I was awarded my Master’s Degree after a year and a half of teaching.

Creating a relationship with the student is the first priority. One a rapport is established, the students and I will be able to achieve more together. I have many team building activities that we can collaborate on to build this rapport as well as trust.
