About Ravenpreet
Hello! My name is Raven, I love education but was not a huge fan during grade school. I am from United Kingdom and moved to CA 10 years ago. I earned my BA in 2016 and MA in 2020. I love teaching to where the student understands the material than just earning a good grade.
I subsitute teach at a local school district. I assist students with college work; papers and research.
I am currently participating in an internship with a local community college district as well.
During middle and early high school; I achieved honor roll awards. My BA career was rocky and not as great as my MA career; where I graduated with a 4.0.
I look forward working with you! :)
When a student understands the material; that satisfaction of actually understanding and not just learning for a test.
Social equality courses in my BA and MA. Juvenile psychology in my MA courses. Currently teaching as subsitute teacher.

Ice breakers, building rapport while learning where and what they need help with. Using the time efficiently and informing the student we will go at their pace.
Children from 4-17 years.
College students 17-25 years.

Students who have difficult home lives; homelessness, single parent homes, foster students.
I attempt to keep up with any new materials in my area of study. My advice is that as humans we will not know everything and it is okay. Having a positive attitude is half of understanding the material.
