About Nathy

If there's one thing i have learned about tutoring students, it is the ability to make a course a priority to a student by attracting them with the most engaging and creative sessions, i mean sessions that involve their daily life as Teens and youths. What i do that makes my service stand out is engaging them with discussion sessions where i use the exchange of personal experience, examples from past stories and from the Lesson outlines to create a more understandable environment for the subject in particular. This not only makes the kid know the subjects but applies it in various aspects of his/her life.

The thing i love most about tutoring is the exchange of Culture, Belief, Ideas while sharing your own knowledge. Every student represents his family which originates from a particular tribe, system and cultural background. As a tutor you are given the opportunity to learn about other people's background and use that knowledge to solve problems of different backgrounds.

It all started back then in high school, I had this dream of going to yale or Harvard but the tuition fees where so expensive so during my free time i would come up with a plan to raise an extra income source by teaching mysets or juniors in their area of difficulties and also helping them do their  assignments. Liitle by liitle i began growing interest in what i do this was because i discovered i was gaining too. But i couldn't meet up my target budget, so i quit. I got back to teaching around 2016 in my second year in college it was also for the money but also to better my experience as a historian. Thats was how i began my journey as tutor but tutoring isnt and was never a full time job for me although the pay i got a month from my private lessons and tutor online sites helped assist in my student loan.

I have a bachelor's degree in History major and also have a 5yr in experience in tutoring Online and private lessons.

Getting to Know them personally, Having a liitle background check of what am dealing with helps me to stay ahead. Secondly getting to know their weakness/difficulties and sharing thoughts on how we can overcome them. Giving a liitle introduction of the topic and overview of the course in particular.

I have worked with Elementary k-19, Middle school, Senior High schoolers. Partime students and aged students who want to complete their studies in high school.

Yeah, i would advice you not to fall a victim to pros and cons claiming to be gurus on tutoring sites to help you

A recent event i am always fond of is the use of mannerisms, facial expressions and Stories. Recently i had one of my students whom i was done with giving a review on one of the platforms through personal reviews saying that i was good with expressions/mannerisms but i drive the points right.  Although i was quite embarrassed about it but thats something i am always fond of although i am Consistently working on it.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
A tutor has the right to disseminate a students questions this is because as learners/students you are expected to have a vast knowledge of the Research/Study. A tutor helps you only get a clearer view of the study Before Submitting or questioning an area of difficulty the  Researcher/Learner is expected to:-

Firstly do an evaluation of what kind of problem he or she is experiencing, a list of them as to what needs matter most,  Identifying and understanding the problems associated to these needs. Trying to solve these identified Problems using different methods/techniques. Identifying what effort has been put in place into helping that situation. All these should be done before approaching a tutor with your needs/questions.
