About Mohi

The level "mohikontok" under which my music is being released as songs and instrumental track are available on iTune, Spotify and YouTube music platform. Class time is 45 min to 60 min. I will charge $50 per class. The first class is trial class .. you will not be charged for it.

I like to play the classic melody on acoustic guitar and Ukulele. I am a member of a New York-based band as a bass guitar player. My students learn music theory and practice it in composing songs. I like to help and support motivated learners. I want to teach about modes of music in guitar so students can apply in composing songs and make their own genre. I will give lessons on Aeolian mode, Lydian mode, Phrygian mode, and Ionian mode. As a musician, my student will be in better understanding to select which mode to play at what time and with what kind of songs.

A universal design curriculum is not enough when instruction time is being lost by issues. Every student deserve free appropriate public education. What may be appropriate to one student may not be appropriate for the others.

A combination of 20 years of experience as a guitarist and 10 years of teaching experience.

About the lesson

A free class to assess prior knowledge and experience of the student. Students come to me for assessment (15-30 minutes).

Who are willing to create a new genre? Protecting our young learners' educational goals is my goal. As a special education teacher at the Department of Education in New York City; I am making differentiated materials and sharing them making available online for educators. These materials are interactive though but scholars need guide to walk through online activities. My students are developing new skills in both academic and non-academic setting. I am very much interested in tutoring children with down syndrome who are having speech delays.

Don't rush to be quick. Do not shy to show up your knowledge, and talent.

Podcast. I like to welcome students to listen to my podcast on LoFi Music. LoFi is a musical genre. LoFi means ‘Low Fidelity’ which indicates the repetitive patterns of the composition and it implies the low recording quality. One of the characteristics of LoFi's sound is that it tells listeners when the sound note will be reproduced or copied. In the late ’80s and ’90s, LoFi term was used to indicate the recording quality of a particular album. Since listeners can easily predict the repetitive pattern, the producers labeled it as bad quality! Plus, the recording includes natural room noise in the background.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Practice daily. 10 minutes of daily practice is better than 10 hours practice in one day.
