About Owen
I provide a broad musical foundation for my students in playing, singing, reading, songwriting, and arranging. Music business information and encouragement also provided.
I enjoy seeing beginners turn on to the excitement of music. My experience is multidisciplinary and I am an active performer.
As a music biz owner I also enjoy coaching musicians in finding income streams.
I began teaching as a compliment to my graduate studies in music.
I have been a performing, recording singer-songwriter for 15 years along with being a clasical music conductor, composer, and college professor. I hold degrees in music theory, voice, and applied music.

We begin with identifying the specific styles of music in which the student is interested. This is followed with a thorough discussion of techniques and artistic aspects specific to the gente. A practice plan is formulated and supporting materials acquired if applicable.
An emphasis is placed on skill competence as well as individual style and expression.
All ages and backgrounds, amateur and professional.
