His attention to detail allows him to encourage you on your musical journey. Great sense of humor and is able to break down information to best help you grasp the lesson. As an intermediate guitar player looking for a teacher two years ago, I reached out to several teachers about how I wanted to learn and improve. All of them sent back generic responses except for Paul. He was extremely personable and offered ways he could help me out before I even met him. Since starting lessons, I’m playing licks and solos of all different genres I only dreamed of playing before. Paul spends the time during and even between lessons to make sure I get everything I want out of a lesson. He’s always encouraging and he’s just as excited as I am when I learn something that we’ve worked really hard on. Not only does he recognize the good things, but he can notice and isn’t afraid to point out things I may be struggling with, and he stays patient and positive and works hard through those points as well. Lessons are something I look forward to every week for both the guitar and the always positive interactions.
