About Frankie
Hello, future guitar pros! Frankie James here, your personal guitar coach! Learning to play guitar can seem very challenging at first. I personally started playing guitar when I was just a kid, and it definitely wasn’t easy learning to play on my own. I couldn’t have done it without my own personal coach, to really “tune-in” on my unique learning style, and help me effectively overcome my biggest challenges, which is when I really took off with my guitar playing! Those challenging moments can make you feel like you’re just not cut out for playing guitar, but I would be very happy to show you that’s not the case! Whether you’re just a beginner, or anyone that could benefit from your own personalized coaching, I am eager to help you Learn2Play!
A little bit about my music roots! I am very grateful to have grown up in a musically inclined family, which goes back for many generations. I was very fortunate to be raised around many musical instruments, and musicians. In this environment, I naturally developed a passion for learning, and for playing. Being the oldest of five kids, I also taught my younger brothers and sisters to play, which is where I developed a passion for teaching! Each one of my brothers and sisters learned in their own individual way, and faced their own unique challenges. Once I began to understand this, I realized how effective and important personalized coaching is.
Today, I have over 30 years of experience playing and teaching guitar. My biggest joy in life is seeing the excitement when something “clicks” in that moment when a guitar player learns a new riff, or overcomes a big learning challenge! I’m looking forward to helping you get there, too!
