About
Hello! My name is Cora Worthington, and my husband, Matthew, and I offer music lessons out of our home and through virtual! My husband teaches guitar, stand up bass and bass guitar, and I teach guitar, fiddle, violin, mandolin, ukulele and vocals! I believe strongly in helping students make music click for them like it did for us, and encourage them to find what they enjoy about playing their instrument. I am very flexible with what they'd like to learn but am firm about teaching fundamentals first of their instrument and basic theory first. I've been playing music for about 14 years and Matthew for about 16 years, and we have been teaching for over 2 years. Matthew also has a lot of experience playing in a band and we both play music with other musicians regularly and encourage students to learn to play with others.
