About Patrick
My goal is to help you fall in love with playing your guitar or piano, and play the kind of music you want to play, at an affordable rate. music lessons can become a chore and a bore, and while practicing the basics and honing your skills are necessary and take work, it shouldn't have to be like homework or yard work. It can be fun!
I will get you started, teach you the basics, and encourage you as you progress. I can share some of my experience and also provide some advice on purchasing equipment and performing live.
I am a husband and father, and I've been singing and performing since I was a child. I have played piano and guitar in bands and other settings for the last 15+ years, and currently serve in my church as the Praise and Worship team leader, which includes weekly practices and services.

We will start with an introductory meeting to find out what your goals are, what equipment you have/will need and your current knowledge/skill level, and set expectations - what you can expect from me and what I will expect from you as a student. We will go over some introductory music theory and go from there!
