About Emilio
My lessons are geared towards help students not only achieve personal and professional goals relating to being a guitarist, but also give them skills that will help them become well rounded, self-sufficient musicians.
I enjoy giving others the tools to their own creativity and as a teacher watching them grow and seeing how they use those tools and the sound and colors they create through the medium of a beautiful instrument like the guitar
I have an Associates, Bachelors, and Master's Degree in music/classical guitar performance from SUNY OCC and SUNY Fredonia respectively. During my time at Fredonia I have taught multiple guitar classes including guitar technique for freshman guitar majors, beginning guitar for non-majors, and even prepared prospective students for college auditions. I am currently studying to complete my doctorate of musical arts degree at the University of Hartford

I have worked with students aged 7-14 and students ranging ages 16-26, mostly being beginners with a few college level freshman, and juniors
I recently played in an online collaboration with over 140 other classical guitarists in the First Virtual Guitar Orchestra, we premiered a piece called "KaliedoKithara" by Sergio Assad to raise money for Doctors Without Borders During the Pandemic.
