About Craig

I try to listen to the student and figure out what exactly they are into. Getting to know your students and connecting with them is the best way to help them improve!

The genuine love for music and the many good things it does for people is makes me enjoy it. I love connecting with anyone and conversing when it comes to anything related to music!

I have given lessons to my friends/classmates/coworkers. However, I wanted to take these lessons a step further to help people online amid the pandemic.

I do not have any formal education. However, I have played with many local bands around the Central Indianapolis area. I have been mentored by my father for numerous years and many other successful musicians in my lifetime.

About the lesson

I usually start off by having a simple conversation on their music styles and what exacly they would like to learn. I need to understand what they would like to accomplish in my lessons. After that, we will move on to working on scales, chords, etc.

I have worked with mostly beginners to intermediate.

They have to know what they are doing. Do not hire someone that is clueless to what they are doing. You can't learn anything if you aren't learning from someone that is lacking knowledge of the given subject!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about what songs/styles you would like to learn. It is good to have a sit down and think about what goals you would like to accomplish with your teacher.
