About Alan
I have two different approaches for different student needs. I can teach you to play songs and or accompany yourself or others. This can be strumming or finger style. I can teach my own ACE guitar method for students who want to learn or improve their ability to play with others in a group enviornment. This is a mid to advanced level for lead and chordal approach to ensemble playing. None of these involve music notation and offer very fast advancement.
I have played guitar for over 50 years. I have studied with teachers and books and played in bands in rock, country, jazz and solo formats. Music has been the one constant in my life and I love to share it with anyone.
I have played and studied for over 50 years. I have studied with teachers in several genres including country, rock and jazz. I have studied the writings and lessons of many prominent players.
