About Aaron
One of my greatest privileges and joy is being an instrumental private instructor for over 30 years. I instruct on these Instruments: Ukulele, Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin. While most of my students do not make a big splash in the world, some have truly made a mark. Several have recorded their own CDs, while one student went on to record in Nashville. I always encourage students to dream big.
What I love most about my work is to see a student and experience with him/her the light turning on. The door opens to a room, a new world that is larger than life. In that room they find sounds and music in their abilities heightened beyond what they dreamed. Music truly is powerful.
I think that I have always been a teacher at heart. I love seeing students hit the next level and their eyes open wide because the door of understanding is open.
I was at MUSIC at major at Colorado State. I have been teaching as well as writing music for almost 40 years.

The student and I would have a conversation to discuss the students desire and goals and to assess what skill level that they are at.
I have worked with the ages of seven years old all the way to 60 years old. I have enjoyed every student that I’ve had.
