About Katricia
I have been an English student for many years and in college I came to the realization that I have a love for the language and writing and want to share that passion with those who are willing to learn.
I absolutely love writing and Grammer, using both to create new worlds, or reimagine old ones, and i truly enjoy when I can help others realize their own abilities and then get the chance to watch them be creative and problem solve. It's such an awarding experience.
I have taken advanced courses in high school and multiple Grammer and Creative writing courses throughout college.

Initially with a new student, I try to get a sense of their writing style and where their strengths and weaknesses lie. Instead of directly being the one pointing out the errors, I encourage the students to find some errors themselves. This way to them the process feels less of a negative critique and more of a interactive lesson. It also teaches them how to find their own errors in the future, when they no longer have aid.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should first think, "Do I truly need help or can I figure it out on my own?" Personal problem solving is a very important trait to have. If after trying to fix it themselves, then that's when asking for help should happen.

Details
I typically charge between ten and twenty dollars an hour, depending on how much coursework I would be assisting with. I charge less for creative writing, ($10) and a little bit more for Grammer and essay help, ($15/$20) because it can be a little more labor intensive. I am flexible with my prices depending on how much time I spend working with a student.
