About Ainhoa

Hello! I’m Ainhoa. I’m originally from Spain, and now based in London. I hold two degrees: Ecology and Environmental Sciences (BSc, University of Edinburgh), Polar Ecology (MPhil, University of Cambridge). I’m passionate about ecology, biology, statistics, and science in general. Since starting university, I’ve been tutoring science courses up to A-level, helping students achieve their academic goals. As a native Spanish speaker living in the UK, I also love helping students discover the beauty of the Spanish language.

About the lesson

I'm an experienced tutor covering science courses up to A-level, guiding and teaching students to thrive academically. Whether you’re looking for weekly support or intensive exam preparation, I’d be happy to help!

I provide tutoring on a one-off, weekly or yearly basis. I offer intensive exam preparation (11+, 13+, admissions tests) too. In our first lesson, we will discuss areas that you wish to improve, so we can develop a plan to boost your confidence and practice to enhance your skills. I teach by talking through the concepts, practising exam questions, homework and reviews of your work. In my lessons, you will experience your confidence increase and see for yourself how hard things can become easy!

As a native Spanish speaker living in the UK, I also love helping students discover the beauty of the Spanish language. I understand that learning a second language is challenging, so I’ve developed a method that focuses on your goals while making the process enjoyable and effective. I’m a friendly and patient tutor, committed to creating a positive and relaxed learning experience that keeps you motivated. So whether you're learning Spanish for academic, social, business reasons, or even for fun, then I'm here to tutor you!
