It all starts with the grip!

Watching a player improve, and achieve their goals. There's no better feeling on the planet.

50 years of trial and error on the range and a lot of great mentors as a youth. At 15, I broke par, and never looked back. I maintained a -1.78 index for two decades.

It all starts with the grip. Then ball position, proper back swing, load into the slot and release. You can't be told, you must be shown.

Really all types.
Beginners.
High to mid handicap players.
And advanced players, my star student carries a +2.77 index.
Make sure your personality and your new instructor's personality mesh. Trust is everything when learning the neuances of the game.
I play in a Spark golf league on Tuesday afternoons. I love watching my playing partner improve week by week.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
"Am I doing what I was taught?"
Remember, the only stupid question is the question NOT asked.
