About Mike

Mike Mandakas is a PGA Instructor, Coach, and Trainer that has been a member of the PGA since 2005. He works with all levels of players from beginners to Tour Level players. Mike uses the best technology available through video analysis and data capturing to help develop players. Golf Lessons are certainly the most utilized service but other offerings are available to help golfers and athletes in Golfer Performance through Biomechanical, Mental, and Physical Training. My time splits between my Indoor Facility in Willowbrook where I have most of my technology and outdoors during the season for Driving Range, Short Game and Putting Work and On Course Instruction.

I enjoy helping others reach short term and long term goals. Whether the golfer is a beginner or elite player, I enjoy helping them improve and make the game more enjoyable to them.

I learned to teach golf from one of the greatest instructors of all time... JIM FLICK

Member of the PGA since 2005

Master Club Fitter: Taylor Made, Callaway, Ping, Mizuno, Srixon, Cleveland

PGA Instructor: Beginners to Tour Level Golfers

About the lesson

My typical process begins with a short or thorough evaluation of the student. This evaluation will start with a Q&A then will be follow by a physical and technical evaluation of strengths and weaknesses with the body and the swing mechanics while finding out what some of his/her short term and long term goals are that will lead into the lesson/session. After the session I will send a session follow up with an instructional plan for practice in between lessons.

I have worked with all levels of players from Juniors to Seniors and Beginners to Tour Level Players.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I always want my players to have a short term and long term plan. I would also my students to know what kind of time commitment they want to put forth.

Perfect! Just an overall great experience with mike. He made me feel comfortable as if we’ve know each other forever. Mike explained everything thoroughly and gave reasons why I should be doing what he suggests. I’m very happy and will continue my lessons with mike until my game improves.

Mike is an excellent golf coach, mentor and role model. I cannot say enough good things about him. My son, who is an avid golfer, starter working with Mike about 3 months ago. Not only has his golf game improved, academically he has become more focused and his overall attitude is much more balanced. As parents we can repeat the same thing over and over and many times it falls on deaf ears. Mike doesn’t just work on the fundamentals of Golf..... he works on the fundamentals of life too.
