About Lea
I am teacher Lea also known as teacher Liya. I prefer to be called teacher Liya for it means better than Lea. I've been a teacher for 5 years now. I'm still 26 years old from Philippines. I spent my childhood years, attained my Education Degree at Cebu Normal University in Cebu and taught for 1 school year there handling Chinese-Filipino, Korean and Japanese Junior High at Kian Kee or PCGS and moved to Palawan up to now and still working on my fifth year of teaching.

I am currently teaching with ages 5 to 12 years old in English Language.
For ages 5 to 6 years old with reading difficulty, I teach them with basic letter sounds, blending of the sounds of the letters by flashing a card to them for the first phase of our session and allow them to give the sound each letter. Then I let them sound 2 letters together and blend it so now they are reading two letters already. After that, we will proceed to CVC pattern reading. Lastly, if they reach the mastery level of that same CVC pattern the learners will read a story consisted of the same words and they will be asked questions for comprehension check.
For higher levels, I teach them grammar lessons with stories. The learners are going to read stories, and teacher will check their comprehension about the story. Then proceed to our grammar topics. Finally, if they fully understood the lesson they are evaluated and allowed to create their own sentences with the correct grammar.
