About JeremyK

I am currently a student of Sunway College taking biology and chemistry. I’ve always been a struggling student throughout my secondary schooling and one thing I wished I had was a teacher that could teach me and encourage me throughout my studies.

About the lesson

I was once a failing student myself — including in science and math — so I understand firsthand how discouraging it feels to struggle with concepts that seem to click for everyone else. Through hard work and the right approach, I turned that around, going from failing grades to scoring As in SPM.

That experience shapes how I teach. I don't just walk you through answers — I break concepts down step by step until they actually make sense, and just as importantly, I teach you how to learn and problem-solve on your own, so you're not dependent on someone else explaining it every time.

Details

Subjects: Science (KSSR) & Biology
Format: One-on-one tuition, tailored to the individual student
Experience: Tutoring for 2 months in and counting
Communication: Regular progress updates and reports after every lesson/week, so parents always know where their child stands

Lesson Structure

Lesson 1 is a diagnostic evaluation — no rushing into content. I identify exactly where the weak points are before building a plan around them.

Lesson 2 onwards shifts into targeted improvement: worksheets and exercises built specifically around each student's weak chapters, reinforced through repetition and exam-style practice until concepts stick.

Real improvement is a partnership — weekly reports aren't just updates, they're a way for parents to stay involved, reinforce lessons at home, and encourage students to keep working on their weak points between sessions.
