About James Ng
I am both a teacher and a therapist, with five years of teaching experience. I recently completed my degree in Psychology at Lancaster University in the UK, and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Clinical Psychology. My journey hasn’t been easy — I went from ranking in the bottom third of my high school cohort and failing most subjects to eventually achieving 9A*s in high school and straight As in college. This personal transformation is what fuels my passion for teaching and supporting my students. I’m committed not just to helping them excel academically, but also to nurturing their speech, motor development, and, most importantly, their overall well-being.

I have helped tens of students with different challenges (e.g. ADHD, ASD, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, etc.) to excel in their studies. I mainly taught in English, Math and Science. While I often cater to my student's needs, my teaching methodology that I use most often is ABA. My lesson is suitable for kids who are neurotypical or autistic.
