About Olivia
I graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Math in 2017 . During my undergraduate days, I worked as both a research assistant and a tutor. In 2018 I started a Physics Doctorate program at North Carolina State University, but I found myself more interested in helping the undergraduate students than doing research. In 2019 moved back to MD and have been tutoring part-time since. I have tutored in-person and remotely, working with high school students and college students of various ages and backgrounds. I love meeting people and helping them accomplish their goals!

High school and college level students often come to me with lingering questions that we not answered in class or specific math/physics topics that they are struggling with. Typically, I start by asking the student a few questions to assess their understanding. Every professor is a little different, and I want my teachings to complement the class teachings. I might ask for an example problem from class and show how them to work out a similar problem. I will not do homework for students, but I can prepare them to conquer it themselves.
