He knows what you are capable of and what you are not. He will push you to your limits, and further than that. My favorite football lessons with coach T were ALL OF THEM. Whether it was in the weight room helping me get stronger everyday; or on the field helping me get smarter with every play, practicing my form and technique, with speed and agility. Always lead by an example and push us to be our best not only the but off. Currently I am a marine officer and I use and apply many of the lessons I learned from coach thomas for my marines. Something I will always carry with me is the importance of not only being physically but mentally tough as well. Training with coach Terry was the best experience of my athletic career (including college athletics). Terry took the time and initiative to get to know me as an athlete and a person. Honestly, taught me everything I need to know about the game. I mean, come on, this is a former division 1 football champion. Also, coached the 2014-2015 Division 3 Mac Champion/Elite 8 (& ranked 10th in the country) Widener Pride Football team as the running back coach. And his group of guys were most of the leaders on that team. His main thing he taught me was “Attention to detail” and I will NEVER forget that.
