About Tiegan

I am 17 years old and dedicated to helping students and athletes like myself to maintain amazing grades and bettering their athletic abilities every day. I have always been in advanced classes since I started school. I am now a senior and have taken AP World History and earned a 4 on the AP test, AP US History and earned a 3, AP English Writing and Composition and earned a 4, and now going into my senior year- taking AP Statitics, AP Physics, AP English literature-English4, AP US Government, and AP Ecomonics. I have played softball for 14 years now and a member of my High School Varsity softball team, during my sophomore year, my team and I had the opporunity to compete at the state championship and took home the gold. I am also in Future Farmers of America (FFA) and secretary of the Veterinary Medicine Club. I am a fitness fanatic and love pushing myself to be better at something every day. I focus on helping students who have a hard time focusing, especially with distractions like techonology and friends. I want to motivate my students to be better at what they do and to strive for greatness. My mission is to also provide helpful study tips for all core classes and help make learning a better experience for them.

I have always had the desire to help people, whether it be in education or within sports. I love seeing people grow into better things and later seeing them share their knowledge with other people.

I have always helped my teaches tutor, especially younger grades at my school district who were in need of help. I not only want to help the student understand the subject, but also understand the reason they are struggling.

I am currently a senior in high school (17 years old), however my AP classes have given me a lot of training and tricks, especially since I have passed every AP credit tests. My scores showcase I have the qualifications to share these tips and tricks along with the talent to better myself and others who need help.

About the lesson

I like to speak with the student and learn their hobbies but also what they struggle with. I like discussing their future goals and what they would like to accomplish when they get older. By doing this, I learn what the student's motivation is and also how willing they are to putting in extra time and effort. My goal is to be more of a motivational friend and a helpful assistant in their learning, rather than someone just earning a paycheck off of someone struggling.

I have worked with all types of students. I have worked with young students who have no motivation for subjects, however after they learn what to do, they were golden. I have also worked with students my age who needed study tips for AP classes and help for advanced math and english classes. I have also worked with athletes for specific workouts for their body type and desires for their body.

Look for a teacher who is as dedicated(or even more) as you are. Find someone who is wanting to better you in all catergories; learning, understanding, and expressing the subject.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Questions a student should think through are very simple. Are you willing to commit your extra time and effort into bettering yourself? Are you also willing to go through trial and error when trying to understand the struggle of learning? Are you ready to be mentally tough with yourself and push yourself to be better than you were before?

Details

I am all about affordability, considering I tutor from video chats, phone calls, and text messages. My rates are different depending on the level of diffulty of the class. Basic skills are $20 an hour, more advanced classes and editing such as study tips and essay editings are $30 an hour, and essay writings and AP classes are $40 an hour. Sporting and health tutoring is $25 an hour Negotiating is also a possibility depending on needs.
