About Katie
Current Business Economics student at UCLA looking to make some extra money by helping out aspiring students! The subject areas that I am strongest in include: Math (up to Calculus 2), Beginning Economics, Beginning Accounting, SAT Test Prep, English Grammar, and can give some tips about college admissions and essay writing! In the past, I have tutored through multiple school honor societies and have helped my peers increase their test scores by over 70 points!

Many students today are bombarded with exam after exam, often forgetting the material they crammed the night before right after they take it. However, I don't like to let my knowledge go to waste. Tutoring others not only helps the person I tutor understand the subject more, but it also gives me a chance to review and revisit certain useful topics that might have slipped my mind. Additionally, there are a few things in life that are equivalent to the feeling of knowing that you helped someone to reach their goals. I hope to continue this activity of using my knowledge to help others to succeed.
