About Hannah

Hi! My name is Hannah Leili, and I am a Public Health major with a Pre-Med concentration and a Spanish minor in the Honors College at the University of South Carolina. I have years of tutoring experience for all ages and love to help students succeed academically. I have a 4.0 GPA, a 34 ACT, and a 1510 SAT with a perfect math score (800)—I am able to help students prepare for standardized tests using the tips and tricks that factored into my own success. My strongest areas include science (biology, chemistry, environmental science, etc.), math (geometry, pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus), english (reading, writing, grammar, paper editing, spelling), and spanish (all levels). I also took 6 AP courses so I know the ins and outs of the tests! I am eager to keep students organized, on task, and motivated to do well. I really just appreciate seeing my students' hard work pay off. It gives me satisfaction knowing that I was able to help boost their own academic self esteem as well as confidence on any given topic.

I graduated at the top of my class in high school and am currently striving to maintain high academic status at college. I have tutored people in my community since I can remember, for at least 7 years. This hands-on experience has helped my to improve my skills.

About the lesson

I will conduct a preliminary meeting if the student desires. If not, I will simply ask questions about their subject of interest, what they seem to be struggling in, and how they work most effectively. After gathering this information, I will personalize a tutoring experience based on what I think would work best for them.

I have worked with pretty much every age and every type of student. I have tutored children with special needs, young children, AP students, and even my classmates in the Honors College at UofSC. There is no type of student that I am unable to work with. I am a relatable and reliable person and do not treat any student with a lesser amount of respect.
