About Myla
Greetings!
I am Myla Barker and I am passionate about assisting students in fufliing their fullest potential through providng a supportive and interactive tutoring service using interactive activities to promote engagaing conversations to better understand my student's challenges.
I am a recent graduate of North carolina A&T State University where I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Agriculture and Environmental Systems. Throughout the matriculation of my undergraduate studies I acquired quite a bit of experience writing scientific and academic papers as well as developing excellent speech delivery skills.
I condiser my self to be an interdiciplinary learner and I value students of all learning styles.

My process for working with a new student typically begins with a brief converstion. I like to get to know my students' aspirations, goals, and challenges so that I may tailor my tutoring style to best fit my students' needs.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should do a sef- evaluation to determine " at what point in this work do I not understand what is going on?" so that the time scheduled can be allocated directly to the source of the problem.
