About Megan
I studied Arabic in college and spent a year in Jordan. While I was there, I met an educator who was opening a new school in Iraq. She invited me to come teach in Iraq when I graduated, and I took a leap of faith and accepted. I ended up staying for eight years! I have spent this time honing my teaching skills and look forward to bringing best practices to all my students.
I hold a BA in Linguistics and an MA is education with a focus on early literacy and culturally and linguistically diverse education. I have eight years of experience teaching in international schools outside the US. I also have experience teaching ESL online.

I have worked with students from kindergarten to adult, but my primary focus is on elementary school students.
