About Ashley
I like to consider myself the perpetual student. I love to learn new things and this passion has helped me to develop a strong love for teaching. I graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry with a Minor in Spanish. I recently graduated with my Ph.D. in Chemistry. During my five years in graduate school, I worked as a Teaching Assistant. I have taught several different chemistry courses and tutored many students at a variety of levels. I have also had the privilege to tutor many students in a variety of subjects, ranging from Chemistry to French Language Courses to ACT prep. I have received the Kevin Cull Memorial Teaching Award at NIU for teaching general chemistry. I believe my years of experience in tutoring and teaching students in high school and college make me an excellent tutor.
