About Linda
Hello!
My name is Mrs. Rodriguez and for the past three years I've had the honor of working as a high school English teacher. Education has always been a very important part of my life, and I strongly believe that a great education is the foundation for a successful future.
I have worked with students in grades 7th to 12th, and specialize in fundamentals for students interested in 1-on-1 tutoring. I like to understand my student's learning styles and create a customized learning program that addresses their individual needs.
I love when I can help a student reach their aha moment! Sometimes students may struggle in silence, but I encourage everyone to ask questions and speak their mind.
I have a BA in Advertising and Public Relations and three years experience as a high school teacher.

Every student is different and therefore a teacher must be able to adjust to the students specific needs. I like to begin with the areas a student is currently struggling with. For example, if a student is having difficulty writing expository essays, we may have to review transitional words and phrases, basic essay structure, introduction and conclusion paragraphs, among other things. The current area of struggle helps me identify the fundamentals we need to review.
