About Sara
I am a certified substitute teacher. I have been tutoring for over 5 years. I develop relationships and work with students strengths. I believe in setting goals for myself and my students. Working always to better and beyond.
I began in college helping fellow students. I was asked by my math instructor. This was in 2004. I have always enjoyed working with people. I enjoy the challenge of creating a barrier of understanding and working through alternative ways to explain solutions.
I am certified to substitute teach. I enjoy the classroom but have a few more classes to complete my degree. My degree will be secondary science education and k-12 special education. My minor will be in social science.

A first consultation to meet and set expectations of me and of the student. The second meeting length and suggested duration will be discussed. The overall goal is know the end game. Create a plan that both parties can agree too.
I have worked with a wide variety from 1st grade to an adult learning English. I enjoy the variety of students I have worked with and look forward to more diversity. Though differences we build understanding.
