About Diane
I have been teaching elementary students in the Sheboygan public schools for 29 years, and am certified as a reading teacher and English language teacher. I work with small groups of students that need extra help in reading and math. For the past few years I have been attending intensive workshops in math for primary students.Different students learn in different ways, and I have a large repetoire of techniques. I use the student's strengths and interests to guide their learning. I love teaching!
I love learning, and teaching is an extension of learning. I love working with kids.
I have been an elementary teacher for 29 years working with struggling students in reading and math. I am a certified reading teacher, and have been taking intensive workshops, classes, and seminars in math.

Some students need absolute quiet, some need music, and some students need to move! For reading and math, I have a wide range of quick assessments that can help me target areas of need.
