About Kate
I am a dedicated and hard working teacher, and I love my students! I meet my students where they are to help them achieve their academic and linguistic goals. I think that learning should be fun and comfortable, while also challenging! I am a full time high school teacher, and I have been tutoring for seven years. I tutor in math, science, English, social studies, test prep and college readiness.
I have a degree in secondary education for Social Studies from Northern Arizona University, as well as an associates degree in English from Harbor College. I have been a part of the tutoring and college application team at a non-profit for almost ten years, and I have helped hundreds of students to achieve their best goal. Every single one of my dedicated college readiness students has gotten into college with a full ride in scholarships and grants with my help! I am extremely dedicated!
