About Ishita

I like making connections with students so they can be interested in learning.

At the end of the day, it is important to help grow their passion for education by guiding them step-by-step in how to study and learn.

I started by tutoring 5th grade students through Americorps in Stockton, CA as community service.

I'm a psychology major in college so research for writing essays and statistics are my best strengths.

About the lesson

Do a Zoom session to see what the student needs are.

I have mostly worked with students K-6th grade in math and K-9 grade in reading and writing.

I would say to ask the teacher if they can help with a particular assignment and start from there to see if the teacher is compatible to help or not.
