About Timothy
Greetings from the Land of 10,000 Lakes! (Minnesota, USA)
I am a retired teacher with 35 years of experience teaching students at all grade levels and in many subjects. I have taught in private schools, public schools and federal government schools in the U.S., and I have taught in international schools in China. In addition, I have had the distinct pleasure of being an elementary school principal at an international school in Qingdao, China (Qingdao International School of Shandong).
I am also an avid painter, writer and illustrator. I have written, illustrated and published two children's picture books, two young adult novels and a Chinese/English phrase book. I devote most of my time these days to painting and print making.
I love to teach, especially tutoring one-on-one or in small groups. I add humor and creativity whenever possible, as I'm a firm believer that learning should be fun! I'm dedicated to my students and always put in the extra time and effort to help learners reach their goals. Your success is my success!
