About Sara
Hello families and students! I'm your new onlineTeacher Sara! I'm so glad you're here! Offline, I am a teacher in California in the United States. I currently hold the following 3 teaching credentials, Multiple Subject (Elementary General Education), Education Specialist Mild-Moderate and Education Specialist Moderate-Severe . At school, I teach English Language Learners and struggling students with disabilities in all subject areas. I love all animals and my favorite thing to do is yoga! I love to write, paint and read a lot of BOOKS! I spend a lot of time outside, camping, hiking and riding my horse. Online in my classroom, you can expect to see a relationship. I will work hard for you to meet your goals, while I focus on getting to know you and your family! We will laugh and have a great time. When I am working with a new student, I always focus on relationships first. I believe that any success first happens when students feel a connection to their teacher.
Once a realtionshop is established with both parents and students, I will work hard to understand the student personal goals. I will figure out ways to build up skills that relate to the goals.
I am also willing to collaborate directly with a student's teacher to make sure that everyone is on the same page.
