About Cheyenne
As a former English teacher with experience from K-12, my knowledge of grade-level and content is broad. Teaching and learning has been a passion of mine since I was in 3rd grade with a beloved teacher. It inspired me to become an educator. My qualifications and certifications include a professional teaching certificate, Bachelor's in Education from CMU, certificate to teach English K-8 content, excellent teacher evaluations from NHA Charter Schools.
I began teaching early on in my program at Central Michigan University and have taught in the classroom since I graduated in the Spring of 2014.
A former classroom teacher, summer learning program tutor, school/classroom tutor, and published author and poet.

A consultation will be the initial process to develop a learning plan for the student. Consultations will be scheduled after a dialogue has been initiated so as best to understand the student and develop a relationship.
A huge variety! I've taught a multitude of students from a number of socioeconomic statuses. Some students have had several learning challenges, some have come from homes that made it difficult to learn, some students came with a breadth of knowledge that challenged me to challenge them - and I loved teaching them all!

My first book being published has made me feel incredibly accomplished and liberated.
