About Adam
I'm passionate about helping each student reach their own goals. I can help you with English/Language Arts and History/Social Studies. I most enjoy helping young writers find their voice in everything they do and write. Let me help you!
I've always enjoyed helping others, and I think that teaching is the best way to do that.
I am a graduate of the University of Rochester where I received a BA in Religion from the College of Arts & Sciences and a BM in Clarinet Performance from the Eastman School of Music.

With new students, I like to make a plan together for success. I'm a strong believer in goal setting, and I encourage my students to set short and long term goals. Then, I work with them to develop a plan to reach those goals, including study, time management, and test-taking strategies.
I've primarily worked with middle and high school students.
When looking for a teacher or tutor in the humanities, my advice is to find someone open minded who is willing to give you the freedom you need to explore your creative side while at the same time providing you with the structure you need to meet your goals.
