About Lori

I've been a speech/language pathologist since 1990. I've been working in the schools since 1996. During that time, I've taught/worked with pre K through adult students as a speech pathologist, language teacher, ESOL pronunciation teacher at the college level, and one-on-one tutor for academic and language skills.

B.S. in Speech Pathology/Audiology from Towson State University

M.S. in Speech Pathology from Towson State University

MD state teaching certificate in Speech K-12, Reading 7-12, Italian 7-12, and Spanish 7-12

About the lesson

I evaluate the student thoroughly, using assessments appropriate to his/her academic goals. I interview the client to really ensure that I understand what specific end result they are seeking. We can then form a collaborative plan to get the best outcome in the shortest amount of time.

I have worked with students of all ages, from pre-K to adult.

Spend a little time talking with potential teachers to make sure that you are a good fit with the instructor. He/she should be able to establish a good rapport with you and understand your needs and goals.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are my business and personal communication goals?

What skills do I have the most trouble with?

How much time do I have to commit to lessons and practice?
