About Alexis
I am really excited on working with you all! I plan on helping students through English as well as writing. I have four siblings whom I've taught about writing, as well as some of my fellow classmates. I'm a senior in highschool, planning on taking the route to become a teacher so I believe this will also help me understand what grade levels I can teach. All grade levels up to 12th grade are welcome!
I started about 5 years ago. My classmates wanted me to tutor them in writing so I agreed. At that time I had gotten really good grades in writing, as I do now. My mother had also wanted me to teach and help my siblings with their work, because she was having a hard time with doing it by herself.
I have worked with my younger slibings as well as some of my fellow classmates and underclassmen.

I simply first meet with the student to talk about their concerns to find out the right approach in means of helping with their work.
Grade levels, 1st through 12th grade.
You should look at how their set up is. For example, there could be some teachers out there that are more strict than others. If strict teachers are your thing then go for it, just don't force yourself into going to a teacher whom you dislike.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
For me personally, I don't think you need to think through anything before going to a teacher with your needs other than, "Can this teacher help me in this subject?"
