About XOCHILT
I have a background in clinical psychology and am working on my masters in social work. I love tutoring/teaching. I am fluent in Spanish and English as a native speaker. I am currently learning a tribal language, otomi.
Language is a lifestyle. I love teaching my students not only the language, but the lifestyle, the customs and culture, so they may connect better with the language.

Prior to meeting, we will have a phone conversation to list the goals and get to know you and me better. This will give me a better understanding as to what level of knowledge you may have based on the subject. I will then prepare the proper material that I believe will make it easier to overcome your struggles. We will set up a meeting point, that works best for you and I, as well as time. We will proceed with tutoring. During the time we are not meeting, I will ask for a journal, so you may list what is working and what is not working. Based on those findings, I will adjust the materials and way of tutoring.

XM was great! She was very engaged with my sister. Taking the time to go over lessons making sure my sister understood the assignment. She would help and correct her accent without making my sister feel bad. She would actually make her feel encouraged to keep practicing and master the language.
I have noticed unbelievable overall improvement from my 12 year old son's tutoring he had during summer break. Putting him ahead of his peers this school year. If your kid needs help in any specific area I highly recommend them.
