About Caitlin

I strive to ensure every student’s needs in reading and writing are met by providing individualized, detailed sessions that both challenge and encourage students to improve their skills.

-Seeing the "ah-ha!" moment with the students I work with when they finally grasp the concept they've been working on.

-Watching the progress and development a student goes through, knowing things they didn't know at the start.

My teaching first started as a tutor for the University of Texas at Arlington's Writing Center, working with adult learners/college students.

My experience with ages 4-18 came later as I began working for learning centers, such as Eye Level and SpiderSmart.

About the lesson

Sitting down with the student and talking to them about their thoughts on reading and writing. From there, i will have them write something based on their age and grade level to assess areas to begin working on skill building. If parents have anything they want the child to work on specifically, then I will incorporate that as well as skill building in our first lesson.

Ages 3 to adults from all backgrounds, native languages, and subjects of learning. The only type of students I do not have experience working with are special education students.

Don't feel ashamed or embarrassed about your skill level in reading and writing. We all start somewhere. Getting help with tutoring is just making sure that you will get to where you want to be and beyond!

Not including my recent marriage, studying Shakespeare and Jane Austen in London during the summer of 2017.

$30 for One Hour Session

One Month Packages: $120 for one hour/ week or $240 for two hours/ week

Have more than one child needing help? Add a sibling to a scheduled session for $15/hour (up to three students total).
