About Christina
I am a 6th-grade writing teacher in the South Brunswick School District. I have been teaching for three years, and I have also been tutoring for the past year. I went to The College of New Jersey and have a Bachelor's degree in English and Secondary Education. Working with students is my passion!
I began teaching in the fall of 2015 after graduating from The College of New Jersey.
I am a teacher that works with 125 students daily. I also went to The College of New Jersey and majored in secondary education and English.

The first step I take when working with a new student is to evaluate their ability. First, I ask them what they believe their strengths and weaknesses are. Next, I have them take a pre-assessment so that I can assess their ability. Finally, I create a plan for the student based on their needs.
I work with students that range from below grade level to far above grade level. I also work with students with IEPs and 504 plans.

I am a co-advisor of the Student Council club at my school. Recently, we held an 8th-grade dance and had a huge turn out in attendance. I enjoy this extracurricular activity because it allows me to work with students outside of the classroom as well.
